JV and Varsity fall to Poplar Bluff but not without a FIGHT!!

The Lady Wildcats JV team started the night off a little slow losing the first set 25-17, but came back and won the second set 25-22. They took the Mules 3 sets, and lost that set 27-25. The JV team played very well tonight, with great hitting, defense and serves. We just missed crucial serves at a time, when we needed to have a run in the game. Overall, I was very please with the team and how they are coming together.

Courtney Delay lead the team with an amazing 14 kills and 3 blocks. Ashley Overstreet followed with 4 kills, and Robyn Chism ended the night with 3 kills. Jessica Carlson and Robyn Chism followed with 3 aces. Tiffany Case had 2 aces, and Ashley Overstreet had 1 ace for the night. This brings the JV record to 3-3-1.

The Varsity came out to a slow start the first game and lost 25-17, came out stronger the second second set but couldn't pull off the win and lost 25-20. We had a hard night getting our moment or a rally going. We made several hitting and serving errors, which hurt when we were trying to get something started.

Erica Wyatt came out strong and lead the team with 5 kills. Lindsay Levitt and Megan Pulley followed with 4 kills each. Taylor Parker had 2 kills for the night, while Che' Holford and Lindsay Hutchison had 1 kill for the night. Taylor Parker lead with 3 blocks.
